BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Kim S. Fennebresque, Chair
Kim is the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Dahlman Rose & Co., Inc.  Previously, he was Senior Advisor of Cowen Group, Inc., and Kim also served as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Cowen and Company, LLC. Kim joined Cowen in March 1998 from UBS Securities where he had served as Head of the Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions Departments. From 1991 to 1994, he was a General Partner and Co-Head of Investment Banking at Lazard Frères & Co. Kim has served on the Board of WNET-Channel 13 as well as on the Finance Committee of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and he is currently on the Boards of Montefiore Medical Center and Common Good. Kim joined the TEAK Board of Directors in 2005. A graduate of Trinity College (1972) and Vanderbilt Law School (1975), he has four children.

   
Robert S. Kaplan, Co-Chair
Rob is a Professor of Management Practice at Harvard Business School.  In November 2007 he became Acting President of and Chief Executive Officer of the Harvard Management Company.  A Senior Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co., Rob joined the company's Corporate Finance Department as an Associate in 1983 and became a Managing Director in 1990. Rob is the Co-Chairman of the Board of Project A.L.S., Co-Chair of the Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center Council, and a member of the Board of the Harvard Medical School, The Jewish Museum, and The Jewish Theological Seminary. Rob is a graduate of the University of Kansas (1979) and Harvard Business School (1983).
   
Justine Stamen Arrillaga, Co-Chair
Justine is the Founder of The TEAK Fellowship. She graduated from Brown University in 1992 and worked as the Assistant Director of The Tiger Foundation for over two years. From 1995 to 1997 she served as Director of Summerbridge at Riverdale, an academic enrichment program in the Bronx. Justine founded The TEAK Fellowship in 1998 and served as Executive Director for eight years. She and her husband, John, have three sons.
   
Anne Brennan, Treasurer
Anne is the Managing Director of Credit Research of Goldman, Sachs & Co. where she also serves on the Global Investment Research Operating Committee. She joined the company in 1992 and was named Managing Director in 2004. Anne also serves on the University of North Carolina Honors Advisory Board.  She earned a BA in economics and international studies from the University of North Carolina.

Frederick M. Bohen
Fred is the Executive Vice President (Retired) of Rockefeller University, where he held the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1990 until 2005. Prior to Rockefeller, Fred held executive positions at Brown University and the University of Minnesota, and served as Chief of Staff of the Federal Department of Health and Human Services during the Carter Administration. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Fund For Teachers. Fred graduated from Harvard University and earned a Masters in Public Administration from Princeton University. Fred has three daughters and several grandchildren.

Jackie Dyer
Jackie is the mother of Teak and Dylan Dyer. From 1968 until 1986, she co-owned a graphic design studio in Los Angeles with her husband, Rod Dyer. She worked for motion picture and television producer Steve Tisch from 1986 until 1990, when she relocated to Northern California. She founded The Yoga Studio in Mill Valley in 1993.

Henry H. McVey
Henry joined KKR in 2011 and is Head of the Global Macro and Asset Allocation team. Prior to joining KKR, Henry was a Managing Director, Lead Portfolio Manager and Head of Global Macro and Asset Allocation at Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM), with approximately $8.3 billion in AUM. Prior to his time at MSIM, he was a Portfolio Manager at Fortress Investment Group and Chief US Investment Strategist for Morgan Stanley. While at Morgan Stanley, Henry was also a member of the firm's asset allocation committee and the top ranked asset management and brokerage analyst by Institutional Investor for four consecutive years. He earned his BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Henry is a member of the St. Christopher's School and Lincoln Center Investment Committees.

Robert W. Reeder, III
Bob has been a partner at Sullivan & Cromwell since 1993, specializing in corporate and securities practice. Prior to joining Sullivan & Cromwell, he clerked for two years on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Bob earned a Bachelor of Science from Youngstown State University and his law degree from the Ohio State School of Law. Bob is the treasurer of the Lawyers' Alliance for New York. He and his wife, Lorraine, have two children.

Lynn D. Sorensen
Lynn is the Executive Director of The TEAK Fellowship. From 1995 to 2005 Lynn worked in a variety of positions at Riverdale Country School including Director of Financial Aid & Outreach. She also worked with Summerbridge for over twenty years and in 1993 she was appointed as the East Coast Executive Director for Summerbridge National. Lynn volunteered at TEAK since it was founded in 1998, serving as an admissions consultant and running financial aid workshops for TEAK families. She joined the TEAK Board of Directors in 2001. Lynn graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a Masters degree from Teachers College at Columbia University as a Klingenstein Fellow.
