Ever since I became a TEAK Fellow, I’ve looked for communities with a sense of family. I had that at Miss Porter’s and now I have that at Brown. I feel close to the people around me, and everyone is supportive. It’s important to me that I have this type of environment and I feel lucky to have found it in college.
TEAK has helped me make all of the major decisions I’ve had so far. Deciding where to go for boarding school, and later college, affected big parts of my life and I couldn’t have made those decisions alone. TEAK has been with me every step of the way. “I’m a TEAK Fellow” is one of the first things I tell someone about myself.
