Frederick M. Bohen
Fred is the Advisor to the President and Executive Vice President (Retired) of Rockefeller University, where he held the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1990 until 2005. Prior to Rockefeller, Fred held executive positions at Brown University and the University of Minnesota, and served as Chief of Staff of the Federal Department of Health and Human Services during the Carter Administration. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Fund For Teachers. Fred graduated from Harvard University and earned a Masters in Public Administration from Princeton University. Fred has three daughters and several grandchildren.

Anne Faris Brennan, Treasurer
Anne is the Director of Credit Research and serves on the Global
Investment Research Operating Committee at Goldman, Sachs & Co. She joined the company in 1992 and was named Managing Director in 2004. Anne also serves on the University of North Carolina Honors Advisory Board. She earned a BA in economics and international studies from the University of North Carolina.
Jackie Dyer
Jackie is the mother of Teak and Dylan Dyer. From 1968 until 1986, she co-owned a graphic design studio in Los Angeles with her husband, Rod Dyer. She worked for motion picture and television producer Steve Tisch from 1986 until 1990, when she relocated to Northern California. She founded The Yoga Studio in Mill Valley in 1993.

Kim S. Fennebresque, Co-Chair
Kim is the Chairman of Dahlman Rose & Co. which he joined in 2010. Previously, he was the Senior Advisor of Cowen Group, Inc. and the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Cowen and Company, LLC. Kim joined Cowen in March 1998 from UBS Securities where he had served as Head of the Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions Departments. From 1991 to 1994, he was a General Partner and Co-Head of Investment Banking at Lazard Frères & Co. Kim has served on the Board of WNET-Channel 13 as well as on the Finance Committee of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and he is currently on the Boards of Montefiore Medical Center and Common Good. Kim joined the TEAK Board of Directors in 2005. A graduate of Trinity College (1972) and Vanderbilt Law School (1975), he and his wife, Deborah, have four children.

Robert S. Kaplan, Co-Chair
Rob is a Professor of Management Practice at Harvard Business School. From November 2007 until June 2008, he served as interim CEO of the Harvard Management Company, the group responsible for managing Harvard's endowment. Prior to joining Harvard Business School in 2005, he served as vice chairman of The Goldman Sachs Group, with oversight responsibility for the Investment Banking and Investment Management divisions. Rob joined the company's Corporate Finance Department as an Associate in 1983 and became a Managing Director in 1990. Rob is also the Co-Chairman of the Board of Project A.L.S., a Trustee at the Ford Foundation, and a member of the boards of Harvard Medical School, Harvard Management Company, and The Jewish Theological Seminary. Rob is a graduate of the University of Kansas (1979) and Harvard Business School (1983).

George Kovacs (2003-2007)*
George founded George Kovacs Lighting in 1954 as a retail lighting store. The company grew to include mail order, sales to retailers, and eventually a wholesale lighting division known for its contemporary style and innovation. George and his wife, Barbara, together founded TEAK's theater program, CATS, which has allowed Fellows the opportunity to see over 55 on- and off-Broadway shows and plays. George joined the TEAK Board of Directors in 2003 and his heart, generosity, and humor are missed by the entire TEAK community.

Henry H. McVey
Henry is the Head of Global Macro and Asset Allocation at Morgan Stanley, where he also serves as Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s Strategist. He has 16 years of investment experience. Previously, he was a Portfolio Manager on the Fortress Drawbridge Global Macro Fund. Henry also worked for Morgan Stanley prior to joining Fortress, as the Chief U.S. Investment Strategist. Henry serves as a member of the St. Christopher’s School Investment Committee. He is also a member of the advisory board to the Jefferson Scholarship at the University of Virginia; a member of the advisory board of Sol Sage Energy; as well as a member of Diocesan Investment Trust for New York. He holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Laura, have a daughter.

Tracy L. Nixon, Secretary
Tracy is President & Chief Executive Officer of King Cross Corporation, a company she founded in 2000. Before starting her own company, Tracy was a Vice President in the Equities Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. and worked for the Parke-Davis division of Warner-Lambert Corporation. Tracy graduated from Princeton University with a degree in chemistry and earned a MBA from Columbia University. She and her husband, James, have two children.

Jill Olson, Honorary Trustee
Jill is a trustee of the Tiger Foundation. Jill was an Associate Director at Tiger Management from 1997 to 1999, analyzing currencies and bonds in developed countries, and before that worked as an analyst there from 1993 to 1995. She also worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. in 1996 as an Associate Economist. Jill graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill (1993) as a John Motley Morehead Scholar. She and her husband, Brian, have two sons.

Karen Outlaw
Karen is the Executive Director of the Norcross Wildlife Foundation and served on its board for ten years. A native New Yorker, she graduated from Manhattan's Norman Thomas High School and studied accounting and mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh. For twenty years, Karen has been an accountant and CPA in New York. She was an auditor for Deloitte & Touche, and, for fifteen years, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Controller at the Robin Hood Foundation.

Robert W. Reeder, III
Bob has been a partner at Sullivan & Cromwell since 1993, specializing in corporate and securities practice. Prior to joining Sullivan & Cromwell, he clerked for two years on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Bob earned a Bachelor of Science from Youngstown State University and his law degree from the Ohio State School of Law. Bob is the treasurer of the Lawyers' Alliance for New York. He and his wife, Lorraine, have two children.

Sarah Robertson
Sarah Robertson is Director of Talent Recruitment at PAVE Academy, an elementary charter school in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Before joining the school, Sarah worked as a journalist. She was a staff writer for the Wall Street Journal and she freelanced for a variety of publications including The New York Times, Departures Magazine, and Portfolio. Sarah serves as Board Chair of Girls Prep, an all-girls charter school on the Lower East Side, and she is on the Women’s Board of the Central Park Conservancy. She graduated from Duke University in 1997 and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and three children.

Lynn D. Sorensen
Lynn is the Executive Director of The TEAK Fellowship. From 1995 to 2005 Lynn worked in a variety of positions at Riverdale Country School including Director of Financial Aid & Outreach. She also worked with Summerbridge for over twenty years and in 1993 she was appointed as the East Coast Executive Director for Summerbridge National. Lynn volunteered at TEAK since it was founded in 1998, serving as an admissions consultant and running financial aid workshops for TEAK families. She joined the TEAK Board of Directors in 2001. Lynn graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a Masters degree from Teachers College at Columbia University as a Klingenstein Fellow.

Justine Stamen Arrillaga, Co-Chair
Justine is the Founder of The TEAK Fellowship. She graduated from Brown University in 1992 and worked as the Assistant Director of The Tiger Foundation for over two years. From 1995 to 1997 she served as Director of Summerbridge at Riverdale, an academic enrichment program in the Bronx. Justine founded The TEAK Fellowship in 1998 and served as Executive Director for eight years. She and her husband, John, have three sons.

Amy Waldman
Amy, a writer and novelist, was a National Correspondent for The Atlantic Monthly and from 2006 to 2007 she was a fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. She was previously the Co-Bureau Chief in New Delhi, India for The New York Times and before that a reporter on the Metro Desk. Prior to joining The New York Times, she worked as an editor at the Washington Post and as an editor and writer at The Washington Monthly. From 1992 to 1994 she lived in South Africa, teaching at the University of Western Cape and working as a freelance journalist. Amy is a graduate of Yale University (1991).
