In 2002 TEAK launched the Morgan McKinzie Endowment for The TEAK Fellowship's Public Interest Internship Program. This endowment allows each Fellow to perform a public service internship and receive a stipend during their summer after 9th grade.
Morgan McKinzie was an excellent student and engaged citizen whose life was cut short by a plane crash in 1992. Morgan was a volleyball player, a cadet in the airforce ROTC program, a volunteer, and an accomplished student at Princeton University. TEAK is honored that Morgan's family and friends have chosen to remember and celebrate his life and commitment to public service through this endowment.
